The season kicks off Friday & Saturday in Blue Earth, MN
LITTLE ROCK, Iowa (April 30, 2025) -- The 2025 season is officially upon us! It's finally race week for Matthew Lloyd! This coming Friday & Saturday, May 2nd & 3rd, we will be at the Golden Spike Speedway in Blue Earth Minnesota for the kickoff to the AJC Mid-America Series!
The will be our first trip to the 1/8th mile dirt oval in Southern Minnesota. We do have returned trips planned on June 28th & August 29th-31st for the AJC series finale. Hot laps will start at 1pm, with qualifying soon after on Friday, and Saturday hot laps are slated for Noon. The AJC Kart Series is in it's inaugural season in 2025. Series director Adam Johnson has promoter many events under the AJC banner in the past to great success, but this is the first time he's put together a points paying series in the upper-Midwest. Both events this weekend will be broadcast live for FREE by MBTV Sports. MBTV is a live streaming company that focuses primarily on the grass roots level of racing, and they are a great partner of Matthew Lloyd Racing.
